Theresa Farebrother
With more than 26 years of instruction and training, Theresa is our most experienced
class instructor! Theresa is certified by AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of
America), ACE (American Council on Exercise) as well as a certified Personal Trainer.
She is certified in Pilates, Yoga and Cycle. She is very interested in music and dance.
She plays keyboard and sings with her church and choreographs dance routines for a
dance team. Theresa has been married to a great guy for 26 years and is the mother
of two wonderful daughters and one golden retriever son.

Katie Cissell
Katie has been studying yoga for the past 10 years. She started during college and her
daily practice helped her survive veterinary school. While she has tried many types of
hatha yoga including Ashtanga, Iyengar, Anusara, and Bikram, her first love is Sivananda
yoga. Katie enjoys the Sivananda focus on breath, alignment, relaxation, and chanting.
In 2007, she did a month-long teacher certification at the Sivananda Ashram in the
Bahamas. During that same year, she moved to Woodland with her husband and
established her own equine acupuncture practice. Yoga has been such a positive force
in her life and she feels lucky to be able to share yoga with the Oasis
community.

Susie Vigil
Susie has been a member of Oasis Club and Spa since 1995 and started teaching at
Oasis five years ago. Her hobbies include camping, reading, walking her dog and
working out. She works for Yolo County Elections Department. She is AFAA certified.
She loves working out with the ladies @ Oasis. She has become friends with a lot of
great gals.

Melika Salvemini
Melika is a Personal Trainer, certified through ACE, as well as a class instructor, APEX &
NASM. She has a degree in Nutrition and can help get you on the right track. Melika
enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter Mia, friends & family and her adorable
dog, Chloe. Even though Melika works a varied shift, she is at the club almost everyday.

MaryAnn Lott
MaryAnn is the gym's fitness coordinator. She has 8 years experience as a fitness
instructor, is AFFA certified and enjoys working at the club and mingling with the
members. She teaches Pilates, stability ball and cardio with steps and weights.
MaryAnn has a passion for running.

Karen Klussendorf
Karen has a degree in Community Health Education, and is certified by AFAA and
YogaFit in a variety of venues. She spent twenty years working in mental health and
crisis management but now spends her time teaching exercise classes and providing
private elder care. Karen is passionate about teaching multi-level classes and making
sure everyone has a good time while building strength and stamina. She believes
exercise is for every-body! Especially you!

Mallory Gorenzal
Mallory started dancing salsa at the age of 16. By the time she was 19, she had
progressed to various forms of Latin, ballroom and swing dancing. The hard work paid
off and she now teaches at a ballroom studio, Barbara’s Dancing Tonight in Davis. It
was at this studio that Mallory found her love for Zumba. She currently teaches 6
Zumba fitness classes a week! It has become a natural extension of what she loves,
DANCE! Mallory is Zumba, Zumba Gold and AFAA certified.

Katie Rickard
Katie is the Front Desk/Membership Coordinator and Massage Therapist at Oasis.
Katie graduated in 2007 from CSU, Chico with a bachelor's of science degree in
Recreation Administration and graduated from the Massage Therapy Institute of Davis
in 2008 as a Certified Massage Therapist. She prides herself on her friendly
demeanor and helping clients to feel comfortable in a fitness or massage setting.
When not working, Katie is doing something in the outdoors whether it be going for a
hike or taking her two dogs (Remi and Tucker) for a run with her husband.
Marrisa Barrera
Marissa is our newest edition to the club. She is a Certified Personal Trainer who
received her certifcation through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
Her passion for fitness and helping others is why she decided to become a personal
trainer. After being involved in the fitness scene, she realized that this is what she
loved and strives to help others achieve their own goals. With hopes of specifically
training females, Marissa is very happy to be a part of the Oasis Club & Spa.
Maya Walker
Maya is a certified Group Fitness and Spinning Instructor and holds certifications from
AFAA and Mad Dog Athletics. When she is not teaching she enjoys reading, running,
weight lifting and spending time with family a friends. She absolutely loves teaching
and looks forward to sweating with all of you.

Kitty Boosembark-Campos
aka "The Sergeant", has been a fitness instructor at Oasis for over 15 years. Her high
energy workouts motivate and inspire many members in need of that extra push. She is
certified by B.E.A.T.S. and trained one on one by Beth Shields the inventor of Quad-
STEP. Outside of the gym Kitty is in the Masters Program in School Psychology and
works with Emotional Disturbed teenagers in Yolo county. In her spare time she is
involved in the Multiple Sclerosis Society and National Association of School
Psychology.
